It won’t come down your chimney, but it will come in an Uber.
Uber will pair with Tipsy Elves on Thursday, Dec. 8 to deliver free, custom ugly holiday sweaters—to the fine people of Denver with just the few taps of an app.
To get an Uberelf to show up from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. mountain time, make sure you have the latest version of the Uber app and enter code ELVESDEN16 to unlock the option. Tap the green ugly sweater pop-up card at the bottom to request your car — err– sweater. If you get connected with a vehicle,—they will show up and you can grab up to two sweaters.
With complementary red, blue and yellow tones, the classic Colorado “C,” the skyline and some adorable bears, the sweater actually could go from ugly to cute quite quickly…if you squint enough.
You don’t even need to get in said car after to go somewhere. Really.
Just 500 sweaters will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis in sizes women’s medium and large and men’s large extra large.
Denver is just one of a few cities getting uglied by Uber, the others are Boston, Chicago, Dallas and New York City.
